01 / YOUR EXISTING ITEM CODES

One item or a CSV batch.

Input method

Copie el campo FNSKU de este artículo. Su SKU de vendedor, un código inventado o un ID de envío FBA no pueden sustituirlo. Conservamos las mayúsculas y minúsculas del código.

Match the listing’s condition. Choose 1–300 labels. Latin/Western title and condition text are supported.

3 × 10; side 0.1875 in; top/bottom 0.5 in; horizontal gap 0.125 in; no vertical gap. Check template.

Your inputs and CSV stay in this browser. No Seller Central connection.

Layout count: 30 labels → 1 US Letter PDF page. Export also requires valid item fields and your check above.

How many FNSKU labels and sheets does the Letter layout need?

Each US Letter sheet is 8.5 × 11 inches and holds 3 × 10 labels, each 2.625 × 1 inch. Required sheets = ceil(label copies/30); PDF geometry uses 72 points per inch. The generator encodes an existing printable-ASCII FNSKU as Code128. It cannot assign Amazon identifiers or confirm receiving acceptance; print at actual size.

This layout targets Avery 5160 geometry and 1–300 copies. It uses your existing item identifier, title and condition; it cannot verify assignment in Seller Central. Latin/Western printable text is supported. Test physical alignment before printing a batch.

Calculation code reviewed . Source dates and limitations are stated separately.

Use the FNSKU barcode generator with an identifier already assigned in your Seller Central account, its matching title and condition. The supplied value becomes Code128 with readable text below. The tool does not assign identifiers, contact Amazon, verify ownership or match the identifier to your physical inventory.

This implementation accepts 1–10 printable ASCII characters without spaces for the identifier. That boundary describes local barcode support, not an Amazon assignment rule. Case is retained, and the encoder can compact numeric runs without changing their decoded value. A seller SKU, URL, shipment identifier or invented example is not a substitute. Keep identifiers as text in a spreadsheet so leading zeroes remain intact.

Paper geometry uses PDF points: 72 points equal one inch, and 25.4 millimeters equal one inch. For a layout holding k labels per page, N requested copies require ceil(N ÷ k) PDF pages. Sheet layouts fill left to right, then top to bottom. Each thermal page contains one label at its selected physical size. Changing the paper setting after export can scale the artwork and break alignment.

Bars are vector rectangles rather than screenshots. Blank borders protect both ends of the symbol; narrower stock can reject a code that cannot fit the supported bar-width floor. The tool does not clip bars or remove that border to force a fit. Titles support Latin/Western text and may shorten to two lines with an ellipsis. Review the remaining visible title and condition before export. Vector artwork has no fixed raster DPI, and an accurate PDF does not prove a physical scan or Amazon receiving result.

Required PDF pages = ceil(total label copies ÷ labels per page). PDF points = inches × 72; millimeters = inches × 25.4. Batch label copies must total 1–300.

Start with your own listing. Copy its assigned FNSKU, identifying title and condition. Select Single item for copies of one listing or Batch CSV for several. Check variations individually; the generator cannot reconcile your account or inspect the physical inventory beside your printer.

For CSV, use unique headers fnsku, title, condition and optional copies. The copies value defaults to one only when that entire column is absent; an empty cell in a present copies column is invalid. Save comma-separated UTF-8 text, not an Excel workbook or tab-separated export. Quote titles containing commas, and double quotation marks inside quoted fields. Quoted line breaks become spaces in printed text. Keep identifier columns formatted as text before saving.

Import a small file and inspect the batch summary. Up to 300 item rows are accepted, but the sum of all copies must also remain at or below 300. Repeated rows stay separate; no automatic deduplication combines them. A bad row blocks the batch rather than being silently omitted. Use the item selector to inspect every label, including rows beyond the first twenty shown in the summary. Confirm that shortened titles still identify the correct product.

Select the exact layout before generating the PDF. Avery 5160 uses US Letter; LL40 and S044 use different A4 cut grids. Match the named supplier template to the actual pack rather than choosing solely by forty or forty-four labels per sheet. Thermal media needs its exact page size configured in the printer driver. A 40 × 30 mm label is not interchangeable with a 2 × 1 inch label.

Confirm the listing and stock check, download the PDF and print a plain-paper alignment test at Actual size or 100%. Disable Fit and Shrink. Inspect the first and last rows against fresh sheet stock, then test a physical barcode and compare its decoded value with your listing. A shared link carries supported settings only; it does not carry a CSV or restore a selected file. Re-select the file locally and review its items again.

The geometry below is implemented in the PDF exporter. It is not a certification that every brand using the same nominal size will align. LL40 and S044 names identify particular retained template geometries. Their supplier page titles round dimensions, while the implemented grids use 45.7 × 25.5 mm and 48.5 × 25.4 mm respectively. Current physical-stock alignment still needs your own print test.

For Letter stock, the side margin is 0.1875 inch, the top and bottom are 0.5 inch, and the horizontal gap is 0.125 inch. LL40 uses 10.6 mm sides, 21 mm top and bottom, and 2 mm horizontal gaps. S044 uses 3.5 mm sides, 8.8 mm top and bottom, and 3 mm horizontal gaps. All three sheet presets have zero vertical gap. Thermal pages have no sheet margin.

These examples calculate quantities and implemented cut-grid geometry. They do not supply usable inventory identifiers or represent printed-stock tests. Every item still needs its own assigned FNSKU and a preview check. A batch can satisfy the arithmetic yet fail if its code or condition text cannot fit the chosen label.

Example 1: 65 copies on Avery 5160

Each Letter page holds 3 × 10 = 30 labels. Required pages are ceil(65 ÷ 30) = 3, filled with 30, 30 and 5 labels. Across the page, 2 × 0.1875 inch margins + 3 × 2.625 inch labels + 2 × 0.125 inch gaps = 8.5 inches. Vertically, 2 × 0.5 + 10 × 1 = 11 inches. Do not use Fit to adapt this PDF to A4: that changes both the label size and cut-grid pitch.

Example 2: 96 copies on the named LL40 A4 grid

The grid holds 4 × 10 = 40 labels, so ceil(96 ÷ 40) = 3 pages contain 40, 40 and 16. Its horizontal geometry is 2 × 10.6 + 4 × 45.7 + 3 × 2 = 210 mm. Vertically, 2 × 21 + 10 × 25.5 = 297 mm. Those exact dimensions explain why a generic sheet advertised as 46 × 25 mm is not enough information. Check its margins and pitch before treating it as the same stock.

Example 3: three listing quantities on S044 or thermal media

Suppose your three separately verified listing rows request 24, 18 and 9 copies. Total copies are 24 + 18 + 9 = 51, within the 300-label ceiling. S044 holds 44 per page, giving ceil(51 ÷ 44) = 2 pages, with 44 and 7 labels. Either thermal option gives 51 one-label pages. CSV order is retained and each row’s copies stay together in sequence. Changing the layout changes pagination, not the supplied identifier or the required item-to-listing check. The exporter continues onto the next page when a row’s copies outnumber the available positions on the current sheet.

Do not read successful Code128 encoding as proof that Amazon assigned the code. Syntax checks cannot distinguish your listing from another item with a similarly formatted identifier. Compare the readable identifier, title and condition with the intended inventory. Use Amazon’s original label workflow when other markings are required or a script cannot be printed by the supported PDF font.

Do not shrink a difficult symbol until it fits the smallest label. The generator protects narrow bars and blank borders and can require larger stock. Do not add a decorative border, logo or text beside the bars after export. A vector PDF preserves its geometry but cannot compensate for printer darkness, media quality or an unsuitable driver setting.

Treat steady drift down a sheet as a possible scale or pitch mismatch. Moving the entire page does not correct an incorrect row spacing. Test on plain paper, compare the top and bottom rows, then test the actual stock. Keep batch quantities traceable to the CSV and retain the original listing data. For carton labels, use the separate existing-PDF FBA workflow; an item FNSKU does not replace an official box identifier.

01Can this tool create or verify an Amazon FNSKU for me?

Supply the FNSKU already assigned to your item in Seller Central. This generator checks local input and barcode fit, then encodes the supplied text. It does not contact Amazon, verify assignment or guarantee receiving acceptance. Compare the identifier, title, condition and physical item before printing.

02Which CSV columns do I need, and can I omit copies?

Required unique headers are fnsku, title and condition. Omitting the whole copies column defaults each row to one label; otherwise every copies cell needs a valid integer. Quote commas and double embedded quotation marks. Invalid rows or more than 300 total labels block export.

03Will any A4 forty-up or forty-four-up sheet work?

No. Forty-up uses the named LL40 geometry and forty-four-up uses S044. Other sheets can have different heights, margins or gaps. Match the template to your pack and test alignment at actual size with A4 selected. A rounded product title cannot establish an identical grid.

04Why can a valid identifier fail on a small thermal label?

Code128 may need more space than the character count suggests. The generator preserves its blank border and minimum bar width, rejecting symbols that cannot fit. Choose larger stock and recheck the title and condition. Never shorten an assigned identifier to force a fit.

05Does a PDF download prove that the label will scan?

No. Vector bars and page geometry do not prove scanning performance. Use Actual size or 100% on matching media, then scan a label and compare its decoded value with the listing. Receiving outcomes remain unverified.

Avery’s 5160 size and count were rechecked October 15, 2026. Named A4 layouts retain their earlier supplier-template geometry; a fresh manufacturer-grid alignment check was not completed in this review. Thermal presets describe physical page sizes, not certified printer compatibility. Amazon’s public API defines the assigned FNSKU field. Locally served JsBarcode 3.12.1 and PDF-LIB 1.17.1 retain vector bars in the PDF.
